ARRI CCM-1 for Live Production Set

The ARRI CCM-1 Camera Control Monitor is designed for the ARRI ALEXA 35 Live Multi-Cam System, offering full camera control and menu access through a touchscreen display. It includes an improved monitor yoke support and all necessary cabling. This 7" onboard monitor features a single EVF-cable solution for imaging, control, and power, sleek rigging, BNC input and loop output, battery options, and various control methods (touchscreen, side button, and joystick/button control). The display tools are based on the SmallHD monitoring tool kit familiar to many ACs and operators. The kit includes the CCM-1 monitor, a folding sunshade, a screen protector, an MYS-1L monitor yoke support, two 1.5' VF cables, and a 1.6' RS power cable.

Improved Yoke Support

The new MYS-1L monitor yoke, compatible with the ARRI ALEXA 35 Live, features enhanced springs to better support the CCM-1 monitor. It allows you to adjust your viewing angle on four axes, including a built-in counterbalance.

Full Camera Control Compatibility

The CCM-1 offers full camera control and unique viewing configurations for the ALEXA 35, ALEXA 35 Live, and ALEXA Mini LF digital cinema cameras. It uses the same viewfinder connector as the MVF-2, freeing up the camera's SDI ports, and can be used alongside the MVF-2. The CCM-1 uses SmallHD PageOS, enabling LUTs to be added to Pages with the monitor LUT tool. An upcoming firmware update will be required for full functionality with the ALEXA 35/35 Live and Mini LF.

Accurate & Bright Display

The CCM-1 features a 7" IPS LCD screen with a bright, high-contrast 1080 x 1200 HD image, providing ARRI-quality color accuracy. Display tools like focus peaking and false color only affect the image, not the status overlays. Sensor-level functions like zooming use the sensor resolution for better focus checking.

Status & Home Screen

Status changes are shown in real time as interactive settings overlaid on the live image. The updated home screen displays all relevant camera information, with each of the five main exposure parameters expandable for a live preview over your image.

Camera Menu & Playback Controls

Access all camera settings via the touchscreen, side buttons, or rear joystick and buttons. Playback control includes an extended clip list and both menu and user button control.

Single Hand Control

The side buttons and the joystick/back buttons combination are positioned on the left side for easy single-handed use. The side buttons include a dedicated Menu button and four user-assignable buttons.

Flexible Connectivity

When used with your camera's VF connector, the CCM-1 leaves both SDI outputs free for other uses. It supports up to 33' VF cables, ideal for live event productions. Connect the CCM-1 via its SDI ports to enable ALF-1 and ALF-2 applications, access the full SmallHD tool set, and use it with third-party cameras.

Versatile Interfaces

The 3G-SDI input and loop outputs can be used for monitoring when using a Hi-5 or other wireless controller. A new 5-pin LEMO USB port can be used with the upcoming USB-to-Ethernet adapter for ALEXA Mini LF camera control while simultaneously using an MVF-2. The 3.5mm TRS audio jack provides the same headphone monitoring as the MVF-2. A user-replaceable steel block allows you to switch out frequently used ports in case of excessive wear.

Brightness

With a single power/image/control VF cable, the CCM-1 provides the REC 709 standard of 100 cd/m² brightness, suitable for studio and interior use. Adding a power cable with DC input or an onboard battery (using a separate plate) boosts brightness to 1300 cd/m² for outdoor viewing.
