Overview
The Miller CX2 Solo-Q 75 2-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System - 75mm Ball consists of the CX2 Fluid Head and the ultra-light, yet rigid 1501 Solo-Q 75 2-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod. The system is designed to support payloads up to 17.6 lb (8 kg), and features concentric, self-adjusting leg locks, light and high-strength telescopic tubing, and minimum (collapsed) travel length.
The Miller CX2 Fluid Head - 75mm Ball is designed for "on the go" creative professionals needing a versatile and affordable solution with uncompromising performance. Whether you shoot with a mirrorless camera, DSLR, mid-sized cine rig or an ENG camera, CX2 is capable of balancing payloads from 0-17 lb (0-8 kg). It features advanced precision fluid drag, intuitive controls, and fast setup.
The CX2 employs CB Plus technology, providing (16) counterbalance positions. With 3+0 settings of Miller’s unrivaled fluid drag, coupled with 60mm of camera plate travel, you can easily adjust the head to match your camera configuration.
Constructed of lightweight, high-strength, die-cast alloy and tough composite polymers, and featuring precision ball bearings, Miller has combined robust engineering with smooth pan and tilt movement. Built for extreme conditions, the CX2 performs consistently over a wide range of temperatures and environments, giving you confidence when out in the field. The Miller 1501 2-Stage Telescopic Solo-Q 75 Rapid Lock Carbon Fiber Tripod is designed for the single operator. You can setup quickly to reach your up to 63" height, then pack to a compact 27" length for transport. Your director will appreciate the must-have of being able to shoot at a low angle with a mere 9.2" as the minimum tripod height. Payload capacity is 44.1 lb.
Selectable leg angle locks ensure rapid stabilisation at any height, while the 75mm diecast alloy bowl and fluid head bubble level offers quick levelling, optimum torsional rigidity, and durability under extreme field conditions.
