Matthews VRig S75 Spherical Camera Support Kit

Matthews VRig S75 Spherical Camera Support Kit is a professional grade VR camera support system with a small footprint (rated for 75 lb) with a barbell weight retainer to keep your center of gravity low to the ground. By their very nature, spherical cameras see everything and are often left unattended amidst the action of your scene or live sporting event. Spherical 360° cameras require a strong support system that is unobtrusive on set and can be easily removed from the shot in post. The Matthews VRig is a system specifically designed to provide a small footprint to minimize nadir hole and shadow obstruction, yet maintain rock solid stability to secure your camera.

In addition, this VRig was designed with a grip-inspired view of what you need in the field. VRig grip-inspired features include:

The barbell weight retainer accepts either your standard or Olympic plates. The lower center of gravity helps reduce tipping. Further secure your VRig with an optional pump cup that locks your stand to a non-porous surface, such as a stage or basketball court. An optional auger spike is available for secureing the stand on a grass or dirt field (baseball, socceer or football applications).

In live event applications, a spherical camera is often positioned front row center of the action to offer viewers the desired immersive experience. It's essential that the camera and rigging remain inconspicuous and minimize the obstruction to the live audience. With discretion in mind, the VRig is designed with a slim vertical riser. Hide your wireless transmitters, batteries, or small accessories under the included Black Elastic Leg Skirt.

Integrated tapped female mounts for lighting fixtures and binaural microphones are also included on the side of the VRig to help address the rigging challenges of a spherical environment while still remaining inconspicuous. 

A 3/8" Magic Finger pivoting camera mount offers tilt possibilities to reposition your camera exactly where you want it. Magic Finger provides a range from -15 degrees to +90 degrees (-15°/+90°).

The VRig includes a Rocky Mountain Leg for easy leveling on hills, mountainsides, rocky environments, stairs and most other uneven terrain. It also includes a convenient carry handle for transport purposes.

This styem can be reconfigured in many ways:

• Car Mount (with the optional pump cup and Magic Finger)
• Tabletop Mount
• Lawn Mount (with the optional auger spike and Magic Finger)
• Optional mini boom arm (for angled mounting or to go negative, below the normal height of your tripod from a higher level position, such as over the side of a building, balcony or stairwell)
