Cinema 3 Easyrig system components include:
- Cinema 3 Vest
- Standard Support Arm
- 500N Shock Absorber
- Carry Bag
Cinema 3 is Easyrig's heavy duty model for 35mm movie cameras, though it also works with camcorders. Equipped with the patented Easyrig System, Cinema 3 is specially designed for professional photographers working with handheld equipment. This version with the 500N Shock Absorber suits a payload with weights between 24-28.5 lb. Cinema 3 can be used with both video and motion picture cameras.
Cinema 3 gives you the advantages of both a handheld and tripod mounted camera. With the speed and mobility of the handheld camera and the stabilization of this support system you can achieve steady pictures. It also has improved steadiness because of the integrated hip and back support. It also features breathable material for long-wearing comfort.
Physical Benefits & Layout
Cinema 3 relieves your back and shoulders. The load is redistributed to the hips so that you can concentrate on the actual filming. The manufacturer states you won't suffer from a strained back or shoulders as you would from normal handheld shooting and you will be able to work for longer periods of time.
The Easyrig 3 Cinema includes:
- Suspension Line (full length of 34.6")
- Camera Hook
- Support Arm
- Adjustment Ring & Knobs
- Side Support Adjustment
All attached to an easy-to-wear vest.
Tighten your hip belt so the rig doesn't slide, shift, or move on your hips. Use the shoulder straps to prevent the rig from tilting.
Hip Belt Sizing:
- Small (XS-S): 28 to 31" (70 to 80cm)
- Medium (M-XL): 31 to 51" (80 to 130cm)
- Large (XL - XXXXL): 39 to 59" (100 to 150cm)
You can adjust the Support Arm to lower or raise it. Please refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual for detailed information about configuring your rig to fit your individual situation.
NOTE: Be sure to center the Support Bar vertically on your back. When it is lopsided, the camera load will be unevenly distributed across your hips. Not only is this potentially uncomfortable, but the camera might hit the bar.
After you are finished filming, just fold your Cinema 3 and put it in the specially designed Petrol bag.
Easyrig 3 cinema will be your best tool when you do movies, commercials and many other hand-held situations where stability is crucial and freedom to move is essential.
The Easyrig company use only the highest quality materials and components in Easyrig units.
The trusted Easyrig system uses components manufactured by: SKF Swedish ballbearings, Lesjöfors absorber Sweden, SAPA Aluminium Sweden, BANDI Sweden, Muller textile Germany and YKK. All Easyrigs are careful hand built and tested in Sweden.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Always hold the camera when working with the Easyrig 3 Cinema. There is a safety strap which you can use to attach to the camera and hook onto the vest. Also, never undo the hip belt buckle when the camera is attached to the Easyrig 3 Cinema. The weight of the camera will pull the top of the Easyrig 3 Cinema down and you could potentially lose control of the camera. Additional precautions in the manufacturer's instruction manual should be heeded for safe operation of Easyrig 3 Cinema.
