Overview
The Wooden Camera Master Top Handle (Main Section) for RED DSMC2 is a modular handle system designed for larger camera configurations and rear of camera operation. The Master Top Handle Main Section is the base of the handle system, and attaches in two places to either the Easy Top (Weapon) or the Pass Through Top Plate (Weapon) via (4) 1/4"-20 screws, making it extremely secure. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points are available on three sides as well as the ARRI standard accessory mount.
The base handle features a front hot shoe mount and 15mm LWS rod clamp with thumbscrew. The rear section of the handle also features a 15mm LWS clamp with an M4 screw. Extensions are added easily and securely by inserting at the correct angle, aligning the tab and slot, rotating clockwise, and pushing in again. This multi-action attachment method prevents the extensions from being accidentally removed. Once pushed into place, simply tighten the screw to keep segments locked in position.
