SHAPE Sony FS5 / FS5 Mk II Bundle Rig with Follow Focus Pro

SHAPE designed their Sony FS5 Baseplate to suit all the key features of the camera. Built small and lightweight, this baseplate is a perfect solution for your Sony PXW-FS5 camera. 

A single 1/4"-20 and a single 3/8"-16 captive screw are included on this baseplate to secure your camera's position in translation and rotation so it won't move. 

Rubber pads at the top of the baseplate ensure that your camera doesn’t sit directly on the aluminum. The baseplate fits 15mm standard rods. Secure the rods with a red ratchet knob screw. On the side, SHAPE included 1/4"-20 threaded holes for mounting accessories or support arms for on-board accessories. 

Under the baseplate, SHAPE added (4) 1/4"-20 and (2) 3/8"-16 threaded holes so you can attach your tripod plate. SHAPE removed excess aluminium from the bottom of the plate during the machining process to reduce the weight of the baseplate.

SHAPE also designed an optional removable support bracket for a METABONES® adapter (FS5MA) can be added on the baseplate to support the weight and remove stress to the camera lens mount. Fixed with (2) screws in front of the baseplate, it can be removed when not needed. For a precise positioning, SHAPE designed the bracket with a 3mm vertical adjustment to make sure it's well-positioned for the best support.

The baseplate includes a set of (2) 15mm 10" rods. 

This baseplate suits aerial devices and gimbal application with its lightweight system for mounting any standard 15mm accessories.

SHAPE BP0050 Removable Shoulder Pad for BP Series is a replacement or spare part for the BP Series baseplates listed as compatible below. This replacement pad is the padded portion of your shoulder rig which cushions your shoulder. It features hook & loop fasteners for a quick insert or removal from the baseplates below. A shoulder pad can reduce shoulder strain and provide comfort on long shoot days.

A CNC machined aluminum handle, the SHAPE Single Telescopic Handle ARRI Rosette - Left Side is designed with SHAPE's patented Push Button Technology to ensure your handle will stay in place. Only one turn of a knob screw is required to extend the handle so you can quickly adjust to the length required. 

The Telescopic Handle (left side) offers the operator telescopic and 360° rotation positioning with (4) points of equal adjustment. 

Along with the quick-release handgrip, this Handle includes a ratchet knob on the extendable arm with 1.5" additional length. It includes a roating handle for multiple positions.

The SHAPE FS5 / FS5M2 Adapter Plate is designed to allow more adjustment when using the Sony FS5 or FS5M2 camera with the SHAPE V-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008). The adapter also includes a removable Metabones adaptor plate (FS5MA) in the front with 3mm of vertical adjustment to provide support. Attaches via (2) screws to support the weight and reduce the stress of the camera lens mount.

Two SHAPE 15mm Aluminum Rods - 4" and SHAPE 15mm Aluminum Rods - 4" connect to your camera rig, extending it and enabling the addition of various SHAPE and 3rd-party accessories compatible with 15mm rods. The rods are hollow, non-threaded, and made of durable aluminum, coated with a clear finish. They also feature chamfered ends that make it easier to insert them into 15mm rod clamps, even if a rod isn't perfectly aligned, or is at a slight angle relative to the rod clamp. 

The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro is a single-sided follow focus system with an integrated 15mm LWS rod adapter, handwheel with adjustable hard stops, adjustable gear arm, removable marking disc, and (2) 0.8 pitch focus gears (28 Teeth & 43 Teeth). Constructed from anodized aluminum.
