CAS Adjustable Spidergrips Complete Set - 15mm Studio

The Camera Accessory Solutions SP2-AX15 Adjustable Complete Spidergrips Set is designed for direct attachment to cameras featuring ARRI-style rosettes on the body or baseplate, or for mounting on 15mm Studio or 15mm LWS (Lightweight) support rod formats.

In the basic (camera rosette) attachment configuration, support rods are not required, and the rotational position of the handgrips can be quickly adjusted. Standard 6" (fixed) Extension Bars are replaced with Adjustable Extension Bars for both handgrips, enabling rapid standoff adjustment from the camera body. Each bar extends from 6.5" overall length (collapsed) to 9.75" (fully extended). A slightly longer M6 Accessory Thumbscrew (dedicated to the right side extension bar) is included with the unit.

NOTE: The Accessory Thumbscrew for the 6" standard right side extension bar (not included) is also compatible with the right side Adjustable Extension Bar, and vice versa.

This Complete Set also includes the 15mm Studio/15mm LWS Center Bracket for enhanced versatility. This is advantageous in that it reduces torsion placed on the camera iris rods by allowing the Center Bracket to be positioned as close to the camera body as allowable, while retaining the ability to extend the handles to an optimum position for the operator. This benefit is most pronounced when using longer zoom lenses, or other large optics that drastically change the balance point of the camera rig.
