ARRI Master Grip Zoom Set for 3rd-Party Cameras is a pre-configured set of Master Grips and accessories, which is suitable for controlling your zoom lenses on third-party cameras. It includes both LCUBE CUB-1 and CUB-2 Miniature Signal Converters, Master Grip for rocker-style zoom control and wheel-style focus/iris control, plus assorted cables for third-party cameras.

ARRI MLW-1 Master Grip Left Wheel and ARRI MRR-1 Master Grip Right Rocker

The ergonomically designed ARRI MLW-1 Master Grip Left Wheel and Right Rocker combines effective camera stabilization with comprehensive lens and camera control. Lightweight and built to ARRI's stringent quality standards, the Master Grip is designed for your ALEXA, AMIRA, and third-party camera users who need flexible and responsive fingertip control while shooting handheld. 

Left Wheel (MLW-1) - Left-side camera handgrip with assignable user buttons and a finger wheel for iris or focus adjustments

Right Wheel (MRR-1) - Right-side camera handgrip with assignable user buttons and a rocker switch for exceptionally smooth zoom control

These solid, ergonomically designed camera handgrips include steel ARRI rosette and two LBUS interfaces.

Versatile Controls

The Master Grip provides full control of focus, iris and zoom settings on cine lenses, including adjustable motor speed, zoom response and motor limits. It also offers a comfortable way to control the integrated servo motors of ENG and EF lenses*. The Master Grip can be used as focus and zoom demand for multi-camera setups, such as when using the AMIRA in Multicam mode (when mounted on tripod pan bars or studio pedestal heads). Camera control functionality includes user button access and REC start/stop for ARRI and third-party cameras, with the latter requiring the LCUBE CUB-1 accessory (sold separately), updated with CUB-1 SUP 2.0.

Proven Design

Based on the classic ARRIFLEX handgrips trusted by generations of filmmakers, the Master Grip features a proven ergonomic design. With controls that are easy to reach yet protected from accidental triggering, it allows for prolonged handheld operating without discomfort or strain. Constructed around a lightweight magnesium cast housing, the Master Grip is solid, rugged and reliable, able to withstand sustained use in harsh shooting environments. 

Easy to Use

With an intuitive user interface, the Master Grip is easy to set up, via the integrated touchscreen or physical buttons. The controls are fully configurable and a status readout boosts user confidence, with the multilingual display allowing menus and status to be read in English, Chinese, Spanish or German.

*NOTE: EF and ENG lens support with ALEXA Mini/AMIRA SUP 5.0; initially only iris support for EF lenses.

ARRI Handgrip Extension - 6.3"

ARRI Handgrip Extension - 6.3" allows you to lengthen the position of your hand grip on your camera rig. This arm bracket repositions the grip into a more ergonomic position for your body.

This Handgrip Extension features an ARRI Rosette on each end. Connect one to your camera body or camera cage and the other to your grip, such as your Master Grip to adjust your camera rig configuration. 

ARRI Cable Clip 15mm

ARRI Cable Clip 15mm fits on your 15mm support rod to corral your accessory cables. Snap the Cable Clip onto your compatible rod, then loop your cable(s) into the static clip to secure them in place.

Ideal for use with your Master Grips on your shoulder rig or to manage cables on your gimbal or aerial device.

This easy-to-use cable management system includes (2) Cable Clips to restrain camera accessory cables.

ARRI Extension Tube for Handgrip - 2"

This 2" long aluminum ARRI Extension Tube for Handgrip allows you to relocate your ARRI Rosette mount point away from the camera body or shoulder pad baseplate. Tube can be used on either left or right side of your ENG camera rig or shoulder harness.

Simply connect one ARRI Rosette on the Extension Tube to your camera rig and then your hand grip or arm extension to the ARRI Rosette on the other side of the Extension Tube.

Add an additional tube to expand the width of your camera rig on both sides so your hand grips and bracket extensions will sit where you need them.

ARRI CUB-1 LCUBE Miniature Signal Converter - Basic Set 

The ARRI CUB-1 LCUBE Miniature Signal Converter - Basic Set converts LBUS protocols to serial protocols and vice versa. The UDM-1 can be connected to the ALEXA Mini via the LCUBE and a daisy chain of one or more cforce motors, delivering distance readings to the WCU-4, allowing focus tracking in the same way as is possible with other ALEXA cameras or the UMC-4 Universal Motor Controller.

Connecting the UDM-1 to the ALEXA Mini is just the first production advantage of the LCUBE. In future it will support various other serial protocols, permitting the latest ARRI ECS accessories to communicate with third-party cameras. 

ARRI LCUBE CUB-2 Signal Converter - Basic Set

ARRI LCUBE CUB-2 Signal Converter - Basic Set adapts servo-zoom lenses with a 12-Pin Hirose to LBUS 4-Pin LEMO. It enables your Master Grips to control focus, iris and zoom of your compatible servo-zoom lens. CUB-2 provides a switch to select between iris control from camera (auto-iris via camera Hirose 12-Pin interface) or Master Grips (via the LBUS).

The LCUBE features an integrated dovetail for mounting your LCUBE Bracket (K2.0009620) or your  CLM-5/cforce mini Clamp Console 19/15 mm (K2.0006176).

ARRI LCUBE Bracket

ARRI LCUBE Bracket is a quick-release mounting point with a 3/8" screw for your LCUBE miniature converter. Connects your CUB-1 or CUB-2 converter box with the threaded screw or via the integrated dovetail on your CUB-1 or CUB-2. Features an integrated Dovetail mount.

Comes with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw.

ARRI Angled LBUS to Angled LBUS Cable - 2'

ARRI Angled LBUS to Angled LBUS Cable - 2' is designed to connect multiple LBUS camera accessories to expand the capabilities of your electronic control system. Pair this cable with your Master Grips or other LBUS camera accessory, such as your cforce motors, AMC-1 Active Motor Controller (to daisy chain up to three cforce motors) or other LBUS accessories for your camera.

This cable provides control signals and power.

ARRI CUB-1 to Sony F5 / F55 Cable - 1.3'

The ARRI CUB-1 to Sony F5 / F55 Cable - 1.3' enables the user to connect the ARRI LCUBE CUB-1 miniature signal converter (sold separately) to Sony PMW-F5 and PMW-F55 cameras (not included).

ARRI CUB-1 to RED Camera Cable - 1.3'

The ARRI CUB-1 to RED Camera Cable - 1.3' enables the user to connect the ARRI LCUBE CUB-1 miniature signal converter (sold separately) to a RED camera CTRL port.

ARRI LCUBE CUB-2 to Camera 12-Pin Hirose Cable - 1.6'

ARRI LCUBE CUB-2 to Camera 12-Pin Hirose Cable - 1.6' is designed for use with your LCUB CUB-2 Signal Converter and your camera. The CUB-2 provides a switch to select Iris control via the Hirose 12-Pin interface on your AMIRA/ALEXA Mini PL LDS Lens Mount, your B4 Lens Mount, and third-party cameras. Enables camera auto-iris function, while using your Master Grips for focus and Zoom.

ARRI Master Grip Case

ARRI Master Grip Case is a compact hard case for your Master Grips and select accessories. Case includes interior insert slots for specific accessories, a fold down handle, purge vent, padlock ports, and latches.

Case will hold:

• 1x set of Master Grips (left/right)
• 2x handgrip extension arms
• 1x extension tube
• 2x LCUBE, including bracket and cables

The interior foam includes (2) layers with straps to help you easily remove the top layer of foam for your Master Grips to reveal the slots below for your cables and accessories. Lid insert included, too, to help protect your Master Grips during shipping or flight.
