Overview
The Movcam Cage for Sony a7II / a7RII / a7SII is a form-fit camera cage with a removable Top Handle and HDMI Cable Bracket. It includes a baseplate with LWS 15mm rod ports (rods sold separately) and a Riser Block with a quick-release. This cage leaves access to the bottom of the camera where you require it for battery and SD compartments, plus access to camera control buttons. The shape of the Movcam cage also permits access to the Multi Interface Shoe (MI Shoe) and camera I/O ports. A convenient shoe mount is provided on the cage.
The lightweight aluminum of this cage offers multiple mounting points (1/4-20) for your camera accessories. The top handle also offers threaded hole mount options and an additional integrated shoe mount.
The cage slides securely into the provided riser block.
Riser Block
Compatible with the Sony a7II / a7RII / a7SII cameras, this riser block connects to the included LWS 15mm rod base plate to permit the use of a mattebox or a follow focus, which can both be purchased separately.
LWS Base Plate
This lightweight support base plate connects to the included Riser Block. It features 15mm LWS rod ports. You can purchase the appropriate rods separately or use 15mm LWS rods you already have on hand.
