Bright Tangerine Universal DJI RS 4 & RS 3 Dovetail

The Bright Tangerine Universal Dovetail is compatible with DJI RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, RS 3 & earlier RS gimbals, and enhances your setup by replacing the standard two-stage plate with a flat, low-profile dovetail. This allows for precise camera positioning without adding extra height.
The design includes 144mm of sliding travel to achieve optimal balance and a wide platform for better stability. It accommodates both large and small camera setups effectively, ensuring your equipment is secure and well-balanced.

Designed for Mirrorless & Cinema Cameras

The plate is designed to accommodate a range of camera shapes and sizes, from small mirrorless cameras like the Sony A7, Canon R5 & Nikon Z series of cameras to larger cinema cameras like the RED KOMODO-X, Sony FX6, Canon C400 & more.

Unlike the stock DJI plate, the universal dovetail accommodates cameras using both 1/4" & 3/8" mounting points.

Easily balance your gimbal

When setting up your camera, position it anywhere along the dovetail for optimal weight distribution. Slide it forward for larger setups with rear mounted accessories, or slide it backwards for smaller mirrorless setups, utilising the 144mm of travel.

This not only allows you to centre the setup on the dovetail but also provides a balanced starting point when mounting it on the gimbal, minimising the need for counterweights and reducing strain on the motors.

The dovetail also maintains ability to use the fine tuning knob on the DJI gimbals.

Wide & Flat with no extra height

The broad, flat surface of the universal dovetail ensures your camera remains stable, maximizing surface area to eliminate any flex. Rubber grips prevent twisting, even with smaller cameras.

The camera remains low, creating a natural pivot point for smooth operation with the gimbal.

With a flush front & rear, the dovetail won't collide or cause compatibility issues with PL, electronic ND & other lens adaptors.

Compatible with DJI RS 4 Pro & RS 4 and earlier models

The universal dovetail is compatible with the latest DJI RS 4 Pro & RS 4, and earlier RS 3 & RS 2 generations.

Instant transition to the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate

The universal RS4 dovetail seamlessly mounts onto the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate when paired with compatible risers. Depending on the camera and riser combination, the distance from the optical center to the 15mm rods will vary.

When paired with B4002.1032 - Manfrotto & DJI RS 4 Riser for 15mm Baseplate (RED KOMODO/KOMODO-X), the camera will be at 15mm LWS standard spacing.

When pairing with B4002.1062 - RED V-RAPTOR (Manfrotto/DJI RS 4 & RS 3) Riser for 15mm Baseplate, B4005.1023 - DJI RS 4 & RS 3 Riser for Canon C70 and the older B4002.1018 - DJI RS 2 & RS 3 Riser for 15mm Baseplate for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-X risers, the dovetail will be 2mm taller.
