Overview
The Cooke SP3 Lenses are an exciting new prime lens series based on one of the most influential lens design in film history, the Cooke Speed Panchros. SP3 is a completely new design optimized, both optically and mechanically, for full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The SP3 Lenses are closely based on Speed Panchro lenses, the classic Cooke lenses who were Hollywood workhorses for years. SP3 have the Cooke Look, which provides heightened dimensionality and contrast that renders images with greater realism. Faces render beautifully with believable skin tones and character. Bring a cinematic look to your pro-video productions with the soft image fall off these lenses provide.
Versatile Design:
SP3 provides an accessible Cooke option which can bring a new world of cinematic imaging to users of mirrorless cameras. They are Cooke's lightest lenses and can be easily used on lighter weight gimbals (such as Ronin). The lightweight, robust construction and mechanics mean these lenses will put up with the rigors of fast paced shooting. These are the lightest Full Frame lenses Cooke has ever produced, which makes them the most suitable Cooke lenses for flying on drones. The lenses match perfectly with Cooke Panchro/i Classics, allowing you use them as a companion lenses when a small footprint is required.
