Rycote 18cm Super-Softie (19/22)

Rycote Super-Softie slip-on windshields include no rigid internal chassis. It sports a unique aerodynamic shape, unlike your standard fur windshields, with specially designed 3D-Tex^® material. The shape and structure of the Super Softie allow it to reduce wind noise at extreme LF and infrasonic frequencies, where the greatest wind energy lies, more efficiently than previous designs. In addition, your Super-Softie is ready to use right out of the box.

If your Super-Softie becomes rain-soaked, remove the Super-Softie then squeeze out or shake dry very quickly. If it becomes coated with dust it can be rinsed, after being removed from the mic, without affecting its performance. That means you do not have to wait for inclement weather to pass before capturing breaking news.

Super-Softies feature 3D-Tex which combines lessening of wind noise with enhanced acoustic transparency. The open-cell foam will sustain excellent performance for years of use in challenging environment.
