Overview
The steel Matthews Baby Boom is similar in construction to their Mini Boom. This boom utilizes a much heavier duty tilt-locking device. It can be mounted on a C-stand with either a Junior Receiver or a Baby Pin.
The boom arm extends from 45" (115 cm) to over 80" (203 cm).

Matthews has provided a convenient hook at the rear end of the Baby Boom to accommodate a sand bag or Boa Bag for balancing. You can also add a Baby Drop Down (427804) to keep your light level.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any light boom or sound boom which is not properly balanced is extremely dangerous on a set. When calculating the proper stand on which to attach the boom, be sure to include the amount of counterweight in addition to the lighting fixture and accessories being used on the stand.
