Panasonic's S1H is a full frame mirrorless camera that offers cinema quality images and records in V-Log, Panasonic's logarithmic brightness curve, which captures the full dynamic range of the sensor. I was curious to see how well the S1H would cut with footage from an EVA1, so I decided to do some testing.
The S1H is a natural "go-to" camera when shooting multi-camera in V-Log. I decided to do just that and then see how easily the footage could be matched in Resolve. The results were not surprising: the S1H can be a compact, high-quality second-unit camera to the EVA1 or the VariCam family of cameras. Check out the video to see for yourself.
